COURSE OUTLINE  2/2005

Section 61

SUBJECT       :    ME 2210   ENGINEERING MECHANICS

PREREQUISITE :     BG 1211    PHYSICS I

LECTURER         :    DR. KAWEEPOJ  WORAYINGYONG

ROOM                 :    C 34

TIME                    :    14:00 – 17:00 hr.

OBJECTIVE  :

1.      To obtain knowledge of the physical and mathematical principles of mechanics

2.      To develop ability to visualize physical configurations in terms of real materials, actual constraints, and the practical limitations which govern the behavior of machines and structures

3.      To be able to construct meaningful mathematical models corresponding to the physical situations

4.      To develop the capacity to predict the effects of force and motion while carrying out the creative design functions of engineering.
